Giving to the Cherith house is more than just a donation. It is an opportunity to change the lives of mothers and children in Haiti. Donations help provide nutrition and medical needs to those who need it the most. Our medical task force is includes Nurse Practitioners, Nutritionists, Social Workers, and Counselors.

Our Center strives to make a difference by empowering our Haitian community through education and counseling around nutrition and maternal healthcare.

For just $40.00/ a month you can help a child have a 14 day supply of medika mamba, weekly visits to the Cherith clinic for nutritional monitoring, and vital medicines to provide nourishment and food security to our Haitian children.

Giving FAQs

  • The most vulnerable are helped by your monthly donation. While we serve all age populations at our medical clinic, our nutritional clinic is specifically designed to treat malnutrition in children and pregnant or nursing mothers.

  • You do!! Your donation helps our organization purchase the medika mamba or RTUF (Ready To eat Nutritional Food). Medika Mamba stands for peanut butter medicine. Medika Mamba is made here in Haiti and our purchase of medika mamba reinvests back into the Haitian community.

  • Yes, our organization believes in coming along side those we are supporting and giving a Hand Up not a Hand Out. We have a Haitian director of operations and a Haitian nurse as full time staff members at the Cherith House. Stateside we have a vast array of volunteers including licensed nurses, holistic nutritionists, certified public health, and licensed counselors providing oversight to the clinic.
